Practice, effort and believing in yourself

There is no substitute for practice and effort when you want to improve your art, but it also takes a whole lot of belief in your abilities and not giving up.

When I drew the first horse’s head below I was so afraid that I would never master colors and blending. I was fairly confident on the pencil sketch, well...to a small degree, but I was not sure what to do with all the colors at my disposal.

I have drawn at least three to five days a week since April and I think it’s starting to show. I know it feels fantastic.
